Fried Green Beans

While these are plentiful, try this recipe. Great dipped in Ranch dressing or just plain.

1 pound fresh green beans
1-cup buttermilk
2-cups all purpose flour
1-tbspn salt
1/2-tbspn pepper
1/2-tbspn garlic powder
Oil for frying

Wash and trim green beans. Pat dry. Mix the flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder in bowl. Dip the green beans in buttermilk and then roll in the flour mixture. Deep fry until golden brown. Drain on pepper towels and sprinkle with salt.
